Man Sues CDC Over Tuberculosis Revelation

The Atlanta man who flew to Europe for his wedding knowing he was infected with tuberculosis filed a lawsuit against the Center for Disease Control, claiming the center invaded his privacy.

The lawsuit alleges that by disclosing his name, the Center for Disease Control subjected him to death threats and severely damaged his reputation. Specifically, the suit accuse the CDC of “unlawfully and unnecessarily” revealing the man’s private identity to the news media.

Finally, the lawsuit claims that the damage to his reputation and the death threats cause so much mental distress that his marriage before the couple had even had a chance to file their marriage license.
